⚔️ Quick Character Intake
Give me enough to see what you're imagining and what sounds fun to you.
You don't need a finished character, a complete backstory, or all the answers. A few things you can already see are enough to start.
Show Me the Character
Start with whatever part already feels real.
If you're still figuring out what fits the character, leave this open.
A sentence is enough. A personality, image, profession, relationship, contradiction, or simply a vibe all work.
Need an idea?
Maybe she's an older woman who learned magic after her children were grown. Maybe he's a fighter who's extremely good at violence and would really rather not use it. Maybe they're a Warlock who genuinely likes their patron.
You don't need to explain everything around the idea yet. Start with the part you can see.
What Sounds Fun?
These aren't questions about what your character is supposed to do. They're about what you would enjoy doing at the table.
Need an idea?
Holding a doorway while everyone else escapes. Talking your way into somewhere you absolutely shouldn't be. Discovering forgotten magic. Landing the impossible shot. Becoming friends with an NPC you weren't expecting to care about. Building something ridiculous and discovering that it actually works.
Give Me an Angle
Just enough to point this person toward the beginning of play. You can discover everything else later.
One sentence is plenty. Adventure doesn't require tragedy.
Need an idea?
Curiosity, duty, faith, money, professional opportunity, wanderlust, helping people, proving themselves, learning something new, supporting family, or simply wondering what was beyond the edge of everything they knew are all enough.
Character details, table preferences, something you're unsure about, or simply another piece you can already see.
